David Defeats Goliath
Father chose this day to reveal and release greater clarity
and wisdom concerning a message scribed December 11, 2011. Following is the
message in its entirety. “There is a new sound coming forth and it is
moving quite rapidly. It is a sound that is not like the sounds of our past,
but a sound that has been strategically set for this day and time. This sound
will precede the new thing that God is doing within the earth. This sound;
although made available for all to hear, will only be heard by those who desire
to move forth into the deeper things of God.
There is now coming forth a changing of the
guard. Just as the seasons change and there is a visual picture of what
that particular season is to the natural eye. This changing of the guard
first began in the spirit and is now connecting and manifesting in the natural.
Many will not be able to see the change because they are not concerned with the
things of the spirit, but caught up in the things of the world. The changing
of the guard has come to help propel the church into its next place in
God.
There is no need to be afraid or alarmed at what
you see because God is well aware of the change, for He is orchestrating it.
This new sound will arise and move forth through those chosen for this time and
season. Those who have been hidden and covered by the hand of God will began to
arise and go forth with what has already been preordained by the Lord.
Prophets, Prophetic Scribes, Minstrels, Poets, Writers, and Dancers will come
out of hiding to take their place in this changing of the guard.
The anointing of God will flow forth freely as these chosen vessels will go
forth with confidence, holy boldness and determination to complete the work
that has been given unto their hands to do.
###
This morning, as I sat before the Lord, I was led to the book of 1 Samuel, chapter 17. As I began to read and mediate upon the first few verses of the word of God, my spirit was quickened to the word scribed back in December. As I prayed concerning the connection, I immediately picked up my pen to hand scribe what the Father was releasing.
Following is a word of wisdom from August 20, 2012 for your encouragement and comfort.
When Goliath and the Philistine army rose up to
do battle with Israel,
they had no idea that this would serve as a hard and costly lesson. In their
quest to bring open shame, fear and harm to the people of God, the Philistine
army would themselves fall as a result of their own pride. What they were unaware of is the fact that a “changing
of the guard” had taken place out of the public’s eye and behind closed doors. When
the Prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:1 was told to “fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you
to Jesse of Bethlehem.
I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” He obeyed and then
anointed David the son of Jesse as the next king.
David a young man, who
tended to the sheep in His father’s pasture, was someone who God was looking
for because of his heart. Trained in the wilderness and in the trenches of
life, 1 Samuel 7 reveals that, “The Lord does not look at the things people look at.
People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Unfortunately,
looking at the outer appearance of man is exactly what caused Goliath and the
Philistine army to fall before Israel in open shame.
David, freshly anointed
and full of the boldness of the Lord, rises up to be used in the battle on Israel’s
behalf as a true representative of the Almighty God. Not fearful of the
enemy and his tactics, David placed his focus on the Sovereignty of God by
stating in 1 Samuel 17:47, “it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the
battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” To the surprise of the Philistine and Israel armies and
even down to his very own family, God took a young shepherd like David to bring
forth His purpose in the earth. In verse 52, it states “then the men of Israel
and Judah surged forward
with a shout and pursued the Philistines to the entrance of Gath and to the gates of Ekron. Their dead
were strewn along the Shaaraim road to Gath
and Ekron.” Notice that
when David rose up in the timing of God and took his destined place on the front
line, Israel’s
whole countenance changed. They went from being fearful of the enemy and his
tactics to mighty warriors and men of valor.
People of God, in the
coming months and leading into the New Year, you will begin to see soldiers who
have served for many years in the deep trenches of the fields and in the back
of the lines, beginning to move forth strategically and into position. Don’t be
alarmed or fearful as many are being promoted by the very hand of God, one after the
other.
As this change occurs do
not allow envy or jealousy to creep into the recesses of your heart, for this
time has been ordained by the Father for the changing of the guard to take
place. If Holy Spirit reveal that you do have an issue with those whom the
Father is raising up, make haste to seek the face of the Father and resolve the
matter with Him privately. Not using
godly wisdom while openly expressing your dislike reflects greatly on your
character as a set apart vessel of the Sovereign Father.
Understand that those
moving into their new positions in this season are people who just like David,
have served faithfully in their homes, churches, ministries and in the
marketplace assisting others in implementing their God ordained visions. May
you be encouraged to know that just like David, these submitted vessels are
kingdom minded and will be used by the Father to help usher the Church into
this next mighty wave and move of God within the earth.
Blessings and Love,

Prayer of Salvation
I repent of all of my sins and right now I do
confess that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for the remission of my
sins. I believe that Jesus died and was buried and rose again, and is now
seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. I receive Him now as Lord of my life
and I now commit to serve him for the rest of my days.
It is in Jesus’ name I do pray, Amen.
