A Poetic View: 3rd Year Anniversay-July 15, 2010-July 15, 2013
All the Honor, All the Glory and All the Praise belongs to the Sovereign Father God for ever and ever!
Today marks a very special day here at "A Poetic View." It was three years ago today when this blog went LIVE with it's very first post. The inspiration for the blog came into existence in 2008 while writing a collection of poetry titled, America's Change a Poetic View. Both the book and the blog were launched and released on the very same day. Additionally, "A Poetic View" Blog talk Radio show was birthed forth and ran for almost two years.
Since going live three years ago, this blog site has had over 8,000 visitors. The top six countries with the most visitors are from the United States, Germany, Russia, France, United Kingdom, and the Ukraine. The top three blog post visited during this time are "Relief from Spiritual Constipation," "Healing for the Emotionally Wounded" and "The Fear of the Lord: Honoring God His Way." Only the Sovereign Father could manifest and orchestrate something like this and for that I'm eternally grateful.
I share all of this with you on today to say that no matter what it is the Father has planted down in your spirit to accomplish in this life, know that you can birth His plans forth in the strength of Christ to accomplish. Today, there are people who "YOU" have personally been ordained to reach and touch with what the Father has placed within you. Seek to not lean to your own understanding about how you think things
should be, just press in prayer for the Father's guidance and then get up and put
your faith and feet to work.
May you be encouraged on today to go forth fearlessly and conquer the land that God has already made available for you by His grace.
Thanks for your support.
Thanks for your support.
Blessings & love,
ALF

Inner Camp Spiritual Spot Check
Scriptural Reference
Joshua 6: 17-19
17 The city and all that is in it
are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with
her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. 18 But
keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own
destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable
to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the
articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his
treasury.”
Joshua 7:1-13
7 But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted
things; Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of
Judah,
took some of them. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.
2 Now Joshua sent
men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth Aven
to the east of Bethel,
and told them, “Go up and spy out the region.” So the men went up and spied out
Ai.3 When they
returned to Joshua, they said, “Not all the army will have to go up against Ai.
Send two or three thousand men to take it and do not weary the whole army, for
only a few people live there.” 4 So about three thousand went up; but they
were routed by the men of Ai, 5 who
killed about thirty-six of them. They chased the Israelites from the city gate
as far as the stone quarries and struck them down on the slopes. At this the
hearts of the people melted in fear and became like water.
6 Then Joshua tore
his clothes and fell facedown to the ground before the ark of the Lord, remaining there till evening. The
elders of Israel
did the same, and sprinkled dust on their heads. 7 And Joshua said,
“Alas, Sovereign Lord, why did you ever bring this people across the Jordan to
deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us? If only we had been
content to stay on the other side of the Jordan! 8 Pardon your servant, Lord. What can I say,
now that Israel
has been routed by its enemies? 9 The
Canaanites and the other people of the country will hear about this and they
will surround us and wipe out our name from the earth. What then will you do
for your own great name?”
10 The Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! What
are you doing down on your face? 11 Israel has sinned; they have
violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of
the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with
their own possessions. 12 That
is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs
and run because they have been made liable to destruction. I will not be with
you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction.13 “Go, consecrate
the people. Tell them, ‘Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for
this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among
you, Israel.
You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.
In the first six months of 2013 many
have crossed over into the land ordained and promised by the Sovereign Father
for their lives. Still there are many others, who are on the very threshold to
crossing over but still have not made the necessary preparations as previously instructed
by the Lord. As we prepare to enter into the seventh month of this year, now is
the time to go back and do a spot check to check for any hidden area that has
not yet been surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Prayer of Salvation
I repent of all of my sins and right now I do
confess that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for the remission of my
sins. I believe that Jesus died and was buried and rose again, and is now
seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. I receive Him now as Lord of my life
and I now commit to serve him for the rest of my days.
It is in Jesus’ name I do pray, Amen.

Prophetic Word
In this season of transition,
staying connected to those who I have divinely connected you to is of great kingdom
importance. Diverting from my plans and seeking to connect to those whom I have
not called you to for this time will not only delay and affect you personally,
but it will also bring harm to those whom you are corporately connected to as
well. Although an established time of rest from your enemies is quickly
approaching, adhering to and following my divine directives to the letter is
imperative if you desire to continue to walk in my favor during this set time.
All is well my child be not
discouraged; do not be dismayed as I continue reveal to you those who do not
have my heart as it relates to my will for you. Know that what I reveal by my
Spirit is to strengthen and fortify your faith in me. Remember, nothing is
hidden from my watchful eye, for I have watched over you through out this whole
process and I know how things will work out for your good. Continue to trust in
me with your whole heart and place not your confidence in the things of the
flesh.

True Intercession
Reference Scripture: Matthew 6: 7-14
7And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8 So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. 9 Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 11‘Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. 14 For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

True: a: steadfast, loyal, b: honest, just
True intercession is aligning your heart to pray
the Father’s will for those who you are called to cover in prayer. Your motive
must be pure as you stand in the gap receiving and releasing divine revelation
and strategies into the atmosphere. Intercession with the intent of
manipulating others into doing what you believe is best for them is not true
intercession. True intercession involves the releasing of one’s own motive,
habits, hang-ups and ideas about how things should be, but rather what is the
heart of the Father concerning His divine will for a particular person, place
or thing.
True intercession is Jesus Christ, the Son of the
Sovereign God. As He hung on the cross, this very act exemplifies true
intercession. It was in this very moment that He stood in proxy for all of
mankind, taking on every sin, sickness and disease imaginable. Jesus Christ,
King of King and Lord of Lords, humbly pushed past self and stood in the gap as
a mediator between us and the Father. Today, at this very instant He is seated
at the right hand of the Father making true and honest intercession for all of
mankind.
The next time you are led to pray and
intercede for others, remember to push past
self and what you may desire and align your heart and spirit to flow and
intercede according to the heartbeat of the Sovereign Father.

In Celebration of Pentecost Sunday 2013
Acts 2:1-4 "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." NKJV
Acts Chapter 2
Fresh rain, fresh wind moving through the sky,
coming so quickly there's no where to run
and hide.
Caught off guard no place to go, you stand
at attention trying to focus with your
nervous soul.
The time has come, here comes the release,
no time to be like Gideon and lay out
the fleece.
Thought God forgot? You know these are the
last days. When He pours out His spirit
upon all flesh and leads us into His ways.
Now full of His spirit, your life begins
to change. You're now walking in the
boldness and authority of Jesus name.
