A Season of Grace & Mercy for Sanballat and Tobias

Nehemiah 4 NIV

[a] When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall; he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?”

Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”

Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of[b] the builders.

So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart.

But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the people of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem’s walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry. They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.

10 Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.”

11 Also our enemies said, “Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.”

12 Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”

13 Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows. 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

15 When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to our own work.

16 From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah 17 who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, 18 and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me.

19 Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. 20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!”

21 So we continued the work with half the men holding spears, from the first light of dawn till the stars came out. 22 At that time I also said to the people, “Have every man and his helper stay inside Jerusalem at night, so they can serve us as guards by night and as workers by day.” 23 Neither I nor my brothers nor my men nor the guards with me took off our clothes; each had his weapon, even when he went for water.[c]

Prophetic Insight:

A wellspring of revelation came forth this morning as it relates to kingdom building. It was revealed that the time has come for the Sanballats and Tobiahs of this past season to repent and purify their hands. They have worked tirelessly in order to block or stop the work of those (brothers and sisters in the Lord) who have been working and focused on kingdom building. Blinded by deception those who thought they were fighting against people have in fact been coming against the established work of the Father. Just as unruly children who throw rocks and then hide their hands, these agents of sabotage didn’t realize that the Sovereign Father not only saw them but He also knew the true purposes of their heart.

The scepter of grace and mercy has now been extended to all who have purposely or unknowingly spoken against, restricted, hindered, blocked, delayed or even stopped those who were actively fulfilling their kingdom assignments in the earth. This space of grace is set for those who are to accept personal responsibility for their actions, repent to God, seek forgiveness, and then receive healing and restoration. The time has come, will you allow the love of the Father to make you whole?

Prophetic Healing Prayer:

Sovereign Father, you are holy. You are worthy of all of the praise and adoration that is due unto your name. I give you thanks for another day to come before your presence. Thank you that when you look at me, you see the righteousness of your Son. Today, I repent for any time I have personally spoken against, restricted, hindered, blocked, delayed or even stopped any of your precious ones from fulfilling their kingdom assignments in the earth.

I ask you now for your forgiveness. I ask also that those whom I’ve hurt, whether in word or deed forgive and release me from all of the harm I caused them. I ask that they forgive me for trying to sabotage their divine assignment because  of my jealousy, envy, anger or fear. Father, I ask that you now wash me. Wash me, cleanse and restore me from the inside out that I may once again represent in purity your Son Jesus as an Ambassador here in the earth. I ask all of this in Jesus name, Amen.

If you are in need of Jesus the Savior, you are welcome to pray the following prayer.

Prayer of Salvation:

I repent of all of my sins and right now I do confess that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for the remission of my sins. I believe that Jesus died and was buried and rose again, and is now seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. I receive Him now as Lord of my life and I now commit to serve him for the rest of my days. It’s in Jesus’ name I do pray, Amen.

If you have just prayed this prayer and want more information about beginning your new life as a Christian, please write us at the address below we will be happy to send you a free booklet.

Changing of the Guard Part III

Gehazi’s Greed

2 Kings 5:20-27 20 But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, “Look, my master has spared Naaman this Syrian, while not receiving from his hands what he brought; but as the Lord lives, I will run after him and take something from him.” 21 So Gehazi pursued Naaman. When Naaman saw him running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him, and said, “Is all well?” 22 And he said, “All is well. My master has sent me, saying, ‘Indeed, just now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the mountains of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of garments.’”

23 So Naaman said, “Please, take two talents.” And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and handed them to two of his servants; and they carried them on ahead of him. 24 When he came to the citadel, he took them from their hand, and stored them away in the house; then he let the men go, and they departed. 25 Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, “Where did you go, Gehazi?”

And he said, “Your servant did not go anywhere.”  26 Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? 27 Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.

Message

Father shared a parable this past Thursday morning which aligns with the scripture reference from 2 Kings 5:20-27. The parable centers on a person who is hired as an employee at a company and becomes part of the company’s workforce. As an employee of this company, the individual provides a service to their employer and in return receives compensation for fulfilling what is required. One day after providing a service for a client who has connections with the local professional team, the employee announces that they need a favor and would like tickets for an upcoming game.  While the employee believes there is no harm in making this request, they may not realize that by soliciting goods or services from the client is in fact wrong and against company policy. They also may not be aware that the purpose of this policy is not only for protecting the integrity of the company but also for their benefit as well.  Companies normally put policies like this in place to help safeguard all employees including management from falling prey to greed. Without the proper boundaries in place, employees could easily be enticed away by any freebie presented and lose focus thereby affecting the integrity of the company’s vision.

It’s important to note that while some client/customer freebies may be viewed as free, someone somewhere already paid the price for it to be produced. Gehazi, who served the prophet Elisha, allowed the sight of a few “freebies” to draw his focus away from his ministry assignment. Apparently he felt in some way that he was somehow entitled to these items because Elisha had of course healed Naaman. What he failed to realize is that the boundaries that were in place were not there to hinder him from accepting and enjoying the “freebies” but to protect the integrity of his and Elisha’s ministry assignment. Unfortunately for him, his short lived greed came with a very high price tag.

Prophetic Utterance

Some major leaders will be stepping down because of what has happened within their ministries as it relates to greed. Father is now exposing on a grand scale. New leaders with a heart for Him will rise up to take their place. Things are being aligned and redirected so the church can truly begin to step out of its comfort zone to become a driving force in the earth before the return of the Lord. Father desires that His people be Kingdom generated and not greed motivated. Scribed @ 7:45 AM (CST) 2/27/2014

Deliverance Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you for who you are. You are Sovereign and worthy of all the honor and glory. We surrender our hearts, mind and emotions to you on today. We ask that you wash, cleanse, and purge us of any contamination from the world. Purify and align our hearts with your divine will that we can become the effective witnesses and agents of change you desire us to be. Thank you Heavenly Father for your amazing grace and another opportunity to serve you both in spirit and in truth. Amen

Encouragement for those who are serving in the trenches

Psalm 24
Of David. A psalm.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
    The Lord strong and mighty,
    the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
    The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.

Message

This afternoon, a heavy tear filled intercession came up in my spirit for those who are serving in the trenches of the vineyard. Many have been crying out to the Father because they are feeling undervalued and forgotten.

Father spoke, that yes He has heard your silent cries of anguish and frustration. And He is aware that many are serving others while in deep need. Many are wondering when they will be rewarded for countless hours of labor. Many have also wondered why they have not been allowed to enjoy the spoils as their leaders have been privy to.

Father spoke that He has heard your request and wants you to know that your labor is not in vain. The reward that you are searching for, the recognition that you are seeking for is found in Him alone. Place not your confidence in the things of the flesh, place your hope in God alone. He is the rewarder of them that seek after Him with their whole hearts. As you work unto the Lord, it is He who will supply your every need.

Be free today and set your heart and eyes back upon the Lord, the creator of all the earth.

You can just call me a Disciple of Christ

In a year where God has been re-establishing His Divine Order; there were many areas of our lives including those within our society that have faced repeated shakings, cleansings, readjustments and the re-establishing of the ancient landmarks. In this year alone, many have witnessed religious battles where people jockeyed for positions or status among select groups. Many of these public and private skirmishes while not started by first timers or those who did not have a clue; were actually begun by many who considered themselves part of the religious elite.

When Jesus walked the earth, there were many such skirmishes and inner struggles similar to those occurring today. Three groups in particular namely the Sadducees, Pharisees and Essenes which will be discussed in this particular message. According to information shared on the Jewish Virtual Library site, “the most important of the three were the Pharisees because they are the spiritual fathers of modern Judaism” (Jewish Virtual Library). In addition, the Pharisees believed in and adhered to the Law of God as passed down to His servant Moses. The Sadducees as the second group have been described as the “elitists who wanted to maintain the priestly caste” (Jewish Virtual Library). Also to note, the Sadducees differed in their perspective from the Pharisees because their main focus was on the written law namely the Torah as their foundational source for wisdom. The last of these three groups is known as the Essenes, who “believed the others had corrupted the city and the Temple” (Jewish Virtual Library). In light of their views, the Essenes left what they considered to be these “unholy cites” and took up residence far “away from the world” (Ross, Allen). To learn more about these particular groups just click on the reference links.

As this natural year comes to a close and while the Sovereign Father yet continues to align and redirect His people back to flowing in sync with His heartbeat, the question that one may ask; is when Father’s divine order is fully operating according to plan will any of the doctrines, policies or personal perceptions of any of these groups matter in the eyes of the very one who created and established the earth? The answer to this question is “No, of course not.”

During Jesus' time one of the many lessons he taught his disciples concerned two of the main groups discussed. The Pharisees and Sadducees seemed to always be in direct opposition to his teachings. In Matthew 16:5-7 Jesus gave his disciples this direct warning When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread. “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.” Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

While the dictates of religion can sometimes be cruel, as children of the living and Most High God, it is imperative that we must not allow ourselves to get caught up with any group that seeks to argue or even seek to make the word of God of no effect. The bible teaches us in Isaiah 55:8-11“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” So when others seek to discredit the word of God, it’s not necessary for you jump into religious battles trying to defend the word. Just speak the word, pursue peace and then allow the word to go forth to accomplish the Father’s purpose in the earth. If the Father is at peace concerning His own word, then surely Disciples of Christ should be too.

The time has arrived for the true Disciples of Christ to arise and stand upon the firm foundation, the rock in which the church was built upon. It’s time to learn how to persevere, keep the faith and stand strong in the midst of religious critics. The Lord is soon to return so it is important to choose now which group you want to be associated with.

If this message has ministered to you in any way please take a moment to pause and ask the Father to forgive you for any of the times you may have allowed yourself to operate outside His will in a religious manner. Rest assured you are not alone. Many others have been this way before as well. Just know that now your sins are forgiven and Father desires to pour out His love afresh upon you at this very moment. This is the time for new wine to be poured into the new wineskins. But in order to partake of this tremendous blessed opportunity, you must be free of religion and open to allow the Spirit of God free course and room to flow unhindered in your life.

Blessings, as you embark upon your new journey in Christ

Die Religion Die (Poem)

Cast down your pride and your old mindsets, our God is a living God
and He deserves our very best.

God is not concerned if you can two step in place, or even when
you’re fasting that you wear a down cast face.

God is not looking for people who feel comfortable in a mold. He called
us as servants and His word has called for us to be bold.

He called us as witnesses to be lights upon a hill, not to be religious
puppets seeking man and not Him for His will.

We must gather together as God's chosen people and prepare for our
battle cry. No more business as usual, as we shout to the world,
Die Religion Die.

Play Fair or Come inside the House

Father downloaded a parable for me to share with you on today. It is obediently released as it was imparted in the love and grace of the Father.

Do you remember back in the day when during the summer months children would come from out of the woodwork every Saturday to play outside?  A person could walk up and down any city block and see crowds of children. Some would be jumping rope, others playing hopscotch, jacks, checkers, and even street ball.  On any given Saturday, young children would gather and play from around 12 noon until around 6 or 7 pm (depending on when dinner time was).

There were hardly any fights or major disagreements on these days because the children assembled had only one thing on their mind and that was to have some fun and enjoy each others company. In the event a fight did break out, it was quickly dispersed when some of the children gathered would say, “come on now, you all gonna get all of us in trouble.” Sometimes the community parent, or the mother who lived closest to where the group of children always played would say, “Okay, you all better play fair, or my kids gonna have to come in the house and the rest of you all gonna have to go home!” The next thing you knew all of the children assembled would then look at the ones in disagreement and say, “you all better get it right between you, cause, I ain’t going in the house this early and be bored on no Saturday!” Then you would see handshakes, pats on the back and hugs and then the play would quickly resume.

It is imperative in this hour that we all hear the Father’s heart as it relates to how His children are to behave when they leave the house to meet up with one another. Daily He pours out His love and continues to provide food, clothing and shelter. He imparts wisdom to those who graciously ask; He also gives insight and heals those who are sick or weak.  With such an incredible Father like this why is there still continued infighting among His children? What’s up with all of the envy, discord and cold love?  Is this how the children of the Holy Sovereign Father act when they leave the house and gather with others? This should not be so. Although this parable is not for everyone, those who it is for own spirit will bear witness for them.

The Sovereign Father loves you richly, but if you continue to not play fair, He’s gonna ask you to come inside the house.  12-5-2013 4:06 PM

Exodus 34:6 “And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.”

Psalm 86:15 “But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.”

Psalm 116:5 “The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.”

Romans 8:6 “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.”

James 4:11 “Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.”

Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.”

Spiritual Postmen: Check Your Delivery

Hebrews: 4:12 (NIV)
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”

Matthew 24: 12-14 (NIV)
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Jude 1:17-22 (NIV)
But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.”

Spiritual Postmen, the manner in how you disperse divine revelation from the Father is very important. There are many who deliver messages where it comes off as cold, harsh and cutting; this should not be so unless you are sent to someone about to cross over as a reprobate. The word of God is the only thing that should be sharper than a two edged sword. The word cuts, not the deliverer. The Holy Spirit convicts, not the deliverer. As Spiritual Postmen, we must allow God to move as He must. The only goal is to deliver the message and then leave the end result to God.

Nothing New

There is nothing new under the sun. The revelation being released in the earth has already been with the Father so, it’s not new to Him but to those who are receiving His messages. Upon receiving any revelation, first allow for it to marinate in your own spirit, and then ask the Father, “do I pray, release this or keep to myself?” Remember every message of revelation or spiritual nugget is not for use within the social media arena, it may be only revelation for you to partake of. Always seek to discern first before releasing.

Backsliders and New Souls

These are the last days and the love of many for the Father has already waxed cold because of hardship and tribulations. He alone has a set time for those to return to the fold. Remember they can not be prodded or beat up with the word, but must be allowed time for true brokenness and repentance to take place in their lives. Otherwise, if they come forth prematurely, it will be too soon and they will turn away from the fold.

Final Words

My dear children seek me for what I would have for you to say, for I am truly a God that answers whether by fire, wind or rain. Nevertheless, I will answer at the appointed time.  Continue to pray and stand in the gap. Continue to cry out. Continue to seek. Continue to love. Continue to humble yourself. Continue to receive from me, the Holy Sovereign God.

The Father's Plumbline Is Irrevocable

Irrevocable

Not capable of being changed.  Impossible to revoke

Plumb line

A cord weighted with lead that is used in building to check that vertical structures are true. It is used symbolically to refer to the divine standard against which God, the builder of his people, tests and judges them. It also symbolizes the standards by which God will rebuild his people.

Scriptural References

Amos 7 (NIV)
This is what he showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand. And the Lord asked me, “What do you see, Amos?”
“A plumb line,” I replied.
Then the Lord said, “Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.
“The high places of Isaac will be destroyed and the sanctuaries of Israel will be ruined;
with my sword I will rise against the house of Jeroboam.”

2 Chronicles 7:11-22 (NIV)
11 When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace, 12 the Lord appeared to him at night and said:
“I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.
13 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
17 “As for you, if you walk before me faithfully as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws, 18 I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’
19 “But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. 21 This temple will become a heap of rubble. All who pass by will be appalled and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ 22 People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—that is why he brought all this disaster on them.’”

Invitation to the Thirsty

Isaiah 55: 6-9 (NIV)
6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

House Cleaning Time

2 Chronicles 29: 15-16 “When they had assembled their fellow Levites and consecrated themselves, they went in to purify the temple of the Lord, as the king had ordered, following the word of the Lord. The priests went into the sanctuary of the Lord to purify it. They brought out to the courtyard of the Lord’s temple everything unclean that they found in the temple of the Lord. The Levites took it and carried it out to the Kidron Valley.”

Psalm 51:1 “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.”

Ezekiel 36:25-27 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

2 Corinthians 7:1 “Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”

James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

I was awakened at 3:30 AM this morning and immediately began to pray in the spirit. This was not an odd occurrence because for the last couple of years until the recent changing of the guard I had been assigned to the fourth watch of the night.

As I bowed from the weight and sorrow of what was being released during this time, a clear vision began to materialize. Father began revealing in greater clarity what some already know has begun to take place within the lives of His children.  Father used one of my childhood homes in Wisconsin as an analogy. In the vision, I was shown how on Saturday mornings, my mother would gather her six children and everyone had to help clean our home from top to bottom including the basement and backyard.

Everyone had their own assignments and knew what they were to clean before we started. My daddy took the clothes to the Laundromat during the times we did not have an in home washer or dryer.  The two eldest boys had their room, the backyard and the basement. I had the kitchen, living room and entryway. My younger sister had the only bathroom and our shared bedroom. My two youngest brothers had their shared room and the family den upstairs. Everyone was expected to do a through cleaning, so we could get to what we enjoyed as a family and that was sitting down to the weekly Saturday movie matinee and some of mama’s freshly stove popped pop corn and a tumbler of Kool-Aid.

Because we did this type of cleaning once a week, it was not such a difficult task. But on occasion while cleaning depending on the season we were in we will find bugs, and other undesirables who decided to find their final resting place in or around our home. Because this was our home and what we considered a place of safety, it was our job to get rid of and dispose of those things found that did not belong. Once we finished and everything was cleaned and put away, mama would do a walk through to make sure that what we said lined up with what we were assigned to do. In the end we always knew everything went well with her inspection because she would then go into the kitchen and pull out the oil and popcorn to make huge bowls of popcorn for everyone. (End of vision)

Now that we’ve entered a brand new season, Father is yet continuing as before periodic house cleaning inspections for His children. It is our responsibility both individually and corporately to adhere to this necessary house cleaning. Not only is this of great importance but it is imperative that we embrace this process in an effort to stay in sync and in tune with the flow of the Father’s spirit.  Just as with any manufacturer, Father desires that those whom He created with His very own hands are operating and functioning in the manner for which they have been uniquely designed.

If you are not sure of where to begin or how to start, pray and ask Holy Spirit to show you the rooms in your home or areas around your property that may need some special attention. This time clean house as if your destiny depended on it, for truly my dear brothers and sisters, a time for major house cleaning is upon us.

True Intercession

Reference Scripture: Matthew 6: 7-14

7And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8 So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. 9 Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 11‘Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. 14 For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

True: a: steadfast, loyal, b: honest, just

True intercession is aligning your heart to pray the Father’s will for those who you are called to cover in prayer. Your motive must be pure as you stand in the gap receiving and releasing divine revelation and strategies into the atmosphere. Intercession with the intent of manipulating others into doing what you believe is best for them is not true intercession. True intercession involves the releasing of one’s own motive, habits, hang-ups and ideas about how things should be, but rather what is the heart of the Father concerning His divine will for a particular person, place or thing.

True intercession is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Sovereign God. As He hung on the cross, this very act exemplifies true intercession. It was in this very moment that He stood in proxy for all of mankind, taking on every sin, sickness and disease imaginable. Jesus Christ, King of King and Lord of Lords, humbly pushed past self and stood in the gap as a mediator between us and the Father. Today, at this very instant He is seated at the right hand of the Father making true and honest intercession for all of mankind.

The next time you are led to pray and intercede for others, remember to push past self and what you may desire and align your heart and spirit to flow and intercede according to the heartbeat of the Sovereign Father.

Spiritual Eclispe-2013

Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. “  NIV

Isaiah 60:2
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” NIV

Upon rising Saturday morning, I noticed that the unbalance that I felt in the realm of the spirit the previous day had indeed passed away. There was such a sweet presence, such a stillness that it could not be denied. The atmosphere had shifted and it was going to be an awesome, awesome day.  As I waited for the Father to speak, I got up from my bed and then went into my quiet place.

Moments later I heard the voice of the Father say that a “Spiritual Eclipse” had occurred in the wee morning hours, right before He had awakened me from my sleep the first time. As I began to ponder on what I heard, instantly a vision of what occurred was before my eyes.
In the vision, I saw the earth surrounded by complete darkness. Moments later, the light of the Father’s presence began to shine forth and fill the darkness with iridescent colors.  As the presence of the Father covered and then surrounded the earth, I heard “My grace is covering the earth and protecting it from the enemy.”  Once these words were spoken the vision was gone and I began to pray as I walked into my office to look up the full meaning of the word eclipse.

“An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when an astronomical object is temporarily obscured, either by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer. An eclipse is a type of syzygy.[1]

The term eclipse is most often used to describe either a solar eclipse, when the Moon's shadow crosses the Earth's surface, or a lunar eclipse, when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow. However, it can also refer to such events beyond the Earth-Moon system: for example, a planet moving into the shadow cast by one of its moons, a moon passing into the shadow cast by its host planet, or a moon passing into the shadow of another moon. A binary star system can also produce eclipses if the plane of the orbit of its constituent stars intersects the observer's position.”

Without going deeper into all of the technical things surrounding the different types of eclipses, the wisdom Father released pertains only to the spiritual eclipse that has now occurred and the fact that His glory has increased and is now covering the earth to bring all things back into alignment with Him.

Prayer

Father thank you for the grace that you have extended to us. Father we thank you for the opportunity to humble ourselves and repent for all things that have not pleased you. Thank you for life. Thank you for your strength. Thank you for your mercy which we do not deserve.  Father thank you for your grace extended to us ever so sweetly.  Show us the way; lead us on the path to true holiness. Lead and guide us into all truth, your truth. Order our steps like never before. Open our eyes to see past the destruction. Open our eyes to see past our flesh. Open our eyes to gaze upon your glory.  We need you more than we have acknowledged. We need your touch and we need your love. We need you more than anything in this earth, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Mishandled Goods

Respect everyone, and love your Christian brothers and sisters. Fear God, and respect the king.”  1 Peter 2:17 NLT

In 1985 while in college, I came home one evening after working at the university bookstore. After making a trek across an empty campus in knee deep snow, I eventually made it home to my off campus apartment; exhausted and wet. As I climbed the stairs and neared the front door to the apartment I shared with three other roommates, I stood frozen in my tracks. The scene that greeted me was something that almost sent my faith into a tailspin. Written across our front door in blood were the words N-----s go home! As I looked down, I saw one of the piglets from the Biology lab tied to our doorknob. He was hung with his head facing downward and his once frozen body now dripped of blood which had also been sprinkled from our front door to the door directly across the hall from us. This apartment housed three of my African American friends, who had also been included in this hate crime.

My first reaction was to go banging on doors to see who did this despicable thing, but godly wisdom and common sense kicked in. Instead, I ran downstairs to the only other apartment in the whole building which housed African Americans and told them what had happened. After calling the police and filing a statement, the officers gave me the same swan song about how they would investigate the incident. Once again, they asked me if we (the nine African American’s who lived in the whole building) would follow their advice about moving back on campus. This time I thanked them halfheartedly and then went into my apartment and bolted the door shut. I called my mother to tell her what had happened and then wondered silently when my roommates were returning from break. A few hours later I was totally relieved when two of my friends from across the hall returned from the Christmas break.

So, how you may ask does this experience tie in with the scripture and theme of this particular message? A few weeks ago as I reflected on some wisdom that Father released to me about how some have mishandled and treated with disdain some of His precious vessels, my thoughts were carried back to the incident in college. After hearing this word, several days later when I kept seeing words of confirmation concerning this mishandling from several connected apostolic-prophetic people, it made me realize even the more that there is coming forth for those who have been operating in this particular error a time for correction and realignment with their love walk.

The incident I shared above happened at a predominately white university many years ago. I, along with the 200 African Americans students (out of over 10,000 students) were seen as not only a minority, but unworthy of consideration or respect from some of the students who attended the university.  In the eyes of the Father we were precious because He created us in His very own image. And just because we looked different due to the color of our pigmentation, did not mean that we did not matter. And just because we did wear our hair differently and even dressed differently did not serve as an open license for us to be treated any differently from anyone else on campus. We, just like all of the other students who were enrolled, were in pursuit of a secondary degree to help better our lives.

As we come back to the scripture 1 Peter 2:17, it tells us to “respect everyone.” In other words it means that even if someone is different or does things just a bit differently from you or I does not mean that person should be mishandled and treated with disdain. All people every shape, size and color are human and each person matters. And why is this? Because our creator the Sovereign Father says that all people matter to Him. (1 John 4:11)

As we walk through this life, we are going to encounter people who may not look or even act like us. This is where our real love walk will be tested. What would our honest response be? Will we still be able to treat people kind and show them the true love of the Father? Or will we just brush them off and mishandle the Father’s goods?  Remember, God is not watching to catch us slipping up, but to see if we will humbly stop and repent when we are walking in error.  Just like I was able to with the help of the Holy Spirit recognize my error before going down the hall, you, too are able to stop, think and press the pause button when things happen in your life that are contrary to the Father’s truth.

May your heart be pricked today to allow the Holy Spirit to search and check the areas where you may have knowingly or unknowingly mishandled the Father’s goods.  Even if you have fallen in this area, know that the hand of the Father is extended to you in love. For as He has loved you with His perfect love, He also desires for you to love your neighbors no matter whom they are. (Matthew 22:39)

If you are in need of the Savior, Jesus Christ

Prayer of Salvation
I repent of all of my sins and right now I do confess that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for the remission of my sins. I believe that Jesus died and was buried and rose again, and is now seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. I receive Him now as Lord of my life and I now commit to serve him for the rest of my days.

It is in Jesus’ name I do pray, Amen.
